Role Purpose
The Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth within the organization’s fleet customer segment. The role will leverage their expertise in both fleet management and GPS technology to identify and develop new business opportunities, build strong relationships with fleet customers, and achieve sales targets.
Involves working in the fleet management industry, specifically focusing on sales. Role will be responsible for selling fleet management solutions and services to potential clients, including transportation companies, car rentals, logistics providers, and other businesses with fleet operations. Role will operate in a competitive market, where building and maintaining strong relationships with clients is crucial. The role requires in-depth knowledge of fleet management practices, industry trends, and competitor activities. Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities |
Deliver against all business sales revenue and profit targets for telematics products
- Assist in developing and executing a sales plan to expand the organization’s customer base within the fleet industry, specifically targeting fleet management companies, transportation companies, logistics providers, and other businesses with fleet operations.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of fleet management practices and GPS technology to effectively position the organization’s telematics solutions, showcasing how they can enhance fleet operations, improve efficiency, and increase profitability.
- Identify and prospect potential fleet customers, conducting thorough needs analysis, understanding their pain points, and presenting tailored solutions that address their specific requirements.
- Support in implementing the sales strategies to target tracking and telematics opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in fleet organizations, providing ongoing support, demonstrating value, and acting as a trusted advisor.
- Lead contract negotiations and close sales deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both the organization and the fleet customers.
- Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedules.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
- Provide post-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction, addressing any concerns, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services to the fleet customers.
Build awareness of Locations Solutions within Regional Market
- Leverage fleet industry knowledge and experience to effectively communicate the company’s value proposition, highlighting how its products or services can address the unique needs and challenges of fleet operations.
- Act as a brand ambassador by consistently representing the company in a professional manner, maintaining a strong industry network, and proactively engaging with potential customers and industry influencers.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in fleet organizations, positioning the company as a trusted advisor and industry expert.
Build high levels of customer satisfaction
- Build strong and effective account management relationships with clients by implementing best account management practices.
- Support in developing and implementing customer retention plans
- Maintain a retention rate of a minimum of 75% on all existing accounts
- To work closely with all internal departments to deliver the goal of total customer satisfaction.
- Client account management by providing technical information and training.

Desired Skills, Qualifications & Experience |
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of the Regional market and regulations.
- Valid Qatar Driving license
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Proven track record of success in sales, specifically within the telematics industry with a focus on GPS technology and fleet sales.
- In-depth knowledge of fleet management practices, including fleet operations, vehicle tracking, fuel management, driver safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with senior-level executives and decision-makers within fleet organizations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to effectively convey the value proposition of the organization’s telematics solutions and close sales deals.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets and objectives within the fleet segment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools for tracking sales activities, managing leads, and analyzing sales performance.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with fleet customers, attend industry events, or conduct on-site visits.
